Mixer Guide: Unlock, Use, and Recipe Order

The Mixer comes after basic citrus production. When the quest tells you to buy it, visit Harry the Carpenter, purchase the Mixer, place it in your rented workspace, and feed it juice concentrate plus an additive. After mixing, move the mixture to the Final Station and add water. The Mixer does not create the final sellable drink by itself.
Unlock path
Grandpa’s letters are part of machine progression. Launch-week footage shows the next design leading the player to Harry the Carpenter, whose shop menu includes the Mixer alongside machines such as the Final Station, Dishwashing Station, Citrus Juicer and Juice Tank Shelf.
Earlier builds often show a 300-gold Mixer price, but that is version-sensitive economy data, so this guide does not treat 300 as a permanent launch price. Check the current shop UI before budgeting.
The correct production order
- Press the base fruit in the appropriate juicer.
- Move the resulting concentrate to the Mixer.
- Add the modifier—sugar, mint, herb, spice or another unlocked additive.
- Close the hopper and operate the handle.
- Remove the mixed concentrate.
- Put it into the Final Station with water.
- Fill the intended tank only after you know which customer will buy it.
Launch-week footage explicitly shows lemon concentrate + sugar becoming a sweet-and-sour result after the mixing/finishing chain. Another sequence adds mint and sugar in stages rather than stuffing multiple modifiers into one simultaneous action.
“I mixed it, but it is still not lemonade.”
That is usually the missing final-station step. The Mixer changes the concentrate; the Final Station with water turns the result into the finished drink. If you stop at the Mixer, you are holding an intermediate product.
Best first use of the Mixer
Use it to satisfy a known customer, not just because the machine is new. Maximus the Tinsmith is the cleanest tutorial example: footage reveals Sweet + Energy Booster, and the mixed lemon recipe being used at that point carries those wanted tags.
That is the pattern to copy for the rest of the game: inspect preferences first, then choose the minimum viable recipe.
